Americanism Essay Contest
2021-2022 Department of Maryland
The American Legion Auxiliary (ALA), Department of Maryland, Inc., sponsors an Americanism Essay Contest for students in grades 3-8. Grade levels are divided into three groups. Three awards in each of the three groups will be presented in each Unit, District and Department, with prizes at each level. First place Department winners will be sent to the National Competition. The contest time frame is November 1, 2021-January 31, 2022.
